We have a camp for all levels of rowing experience and are open to boys and girls in grades 6 - 12.

Learn to Row - Summer Camp -   $300 per session

Fee includes Water/Land based Training and Park Entry Fee
20 MAX. 

Our 2 week programs are designed primarily for the new/beginner rower, who will be in the 6th to 12th grade next school year. We will explore the basics of rowing and rowing technique, how to responsibly handle the equipment (boats and oars), and spend time on the water to apply what they learned on land. Additionally, these campers participate in land-based training for overall fitness.  

Session 1 June 13 - June 23 (8:30am - 11:00am Monday - Thursday)
Session 2 June 27 - June 30 (Mon-Thurs) & July 5 - 8 (Tues-Fri) 8:30am - 11:00am
Session 3 July 25 - August 4 (8:30am - 11:00am Monday - Thursday)

1 Week Intensive Sculling Camp -  1 Week - $185

Fee includes Water/Land based Training
Middle School and High School 
20 MAX.

Our one week Sculling Elite Camp is a 1 week (Monday - Friday) camp focused on the novice to elite middle and high school rowers who want to improve their technical ability in sculling boats. Each participant will be placed in groups determined by ability and will be coached by SORA Head Coach Terry Davison. This training program consists of all sculling boat skills and technique in Singles, Doubles and Quads. Our sculling elite camp will include focused technical sessions with feedback, development and rowing specific nutrition for the competitive rower.

Session 1 July 18 - July 22 (8:00am - 11:00am Monday - Friday) MS/HS returners

1 Week Development Camp - 1 week $200

Our one week technically and athletically intensive Camp is a 1 week (Monday - Friday) camp focused on advanced and developing high school rowers who want to extend their technical ability and athleticism across boat classes. Participants will be separated into groups based on their ability and receive specific technical and physical, as well as nutritional and psychological training adapted to their skills and development. This program will consist of training across ergs and a range of boat classes to hone rower skills and athleticism.

Please note Session 2 is Tuesday - Saturday due to 4th of July Holiday. 

Session 2 July 5 - July 9 (8:00am - 11:00am, Tuesday - Saturday) 

High/Middle School Drop-In

Weekly Rate $50 / Week (Monday - Thursday)
Daily Rate$15 / Day ( Monday - Thursday)

Returning this summer is our Drop-in Program. Do you want to get on the water and put those meters in without a camp experience? This is a great opportunity to work on those small boat skills or get a group of friends together and work on boats of all sizes. 

You may sign-up for an entire session, a week at a time or even drop-in for a day of rowing with your friends. There is no coaching involved but you will be accompanied by a launch for safety and able to enjoy a day of rowing.

Note - Dependent on the number of participants and boat availability you may be placed with one of our scheduled camps

    Each participant should have athletic clothing, shoes and socks, a soft plastic water bottle, and a non-perishable snack that is packaged in a squirrel-proof bag. (Our squirrels are very creative - and hungry!)
