Information and Registration 

The OARS Invitational Regatta is one of the premier rowing events in the southeast, traditionally attracting more than 1,000 rowers from around Florida and neighboring states. Racing takes place on a 1500m course on Turkey Lake, with races starting every 7 minutes. 

ALL MS rowers are expected to stay the entire event to cheer on their team and to help clean up at the end of the event.

Arrival: 7:15 am (Arrival time for ALL) Sunday, March 8, 2026.

Please plan accordingly; traffic into the park will be VERY congested. It is VERY important that you are on TIME.

Parking: ADVANCED pre-purchased parking pass is REQUIRED for entry

Bill Frederick Park at Turkey Lake has implemented a NEW entry fee: $12 per Small Passenger Vehicle per day plus transaction fees.

Bill Frederick Park will NOT accept cash at the gate.

If you purchase your parking ticket before March 6, you will be offered a 25% discount using the following discount code: early26sales. Select the type of vehicle(small capacity) and then select the quantity of people for each day that will be riding in the vehicle with you as you pass through the entry gates. Upon completion of the registration, you will receive 3 emails. Please PRINT the parking pass and place it in the window of your vehicle so the gate attendant can clearly see it. A parking pass is required for entry into the park.

Regatta Wear: 

Arrival: SORA Hi-Vis Yellow Shirt ALL black pants or ALL black shorts

Race Wear: SORA Race Top, Black Spandex & Hi-Vis SORA Yellow hats are required at EVERY race

It is VERY important that ALL MS rowers that registered for this regatta attend, if you have a

change in your rowers attendance after, please inform Coach Joe/Ian or Runi immediately. If we are missing a rower on regatta day, it may cause the entire boat to scratch.
