SORA Registration is NOW OPEN

We are excited to launch the start of our 2025-2026 season, officially beginning September 2 for both our Middle School and High School Programs. You are, however, welcome to join SORA anytime throughout the season. We look forward to a great season at the boathouse, time on the water, racing and traveling.

2025-2026 High School Registration Fee - $250.00 (USD) Subscription period: Unlimited This registers the rower and allows you to pay the registration fee. Your first dues invoice will follow shortly after for September.

2025-2026 Middle School Registration Fee - $200.00 (USD) Subscription period: Unlimited This registers the rower and allows you to pay the registration fee. Your first dues invoice will follow shortly after for September.

SORA’s registration fees cover the following:

Moss Park - Park Pass
USRowing Insurance initial payments (insurance coverage is for both rowers and the club)
Hi-Vis SORA, 1 hat per rower, HS and MS
Hi-Vis SORA Shirt(s) 1 shirt for MS and 2 shirts for HS
MS ONLY - 1 blue racing tank

High School Practices - Fall

Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday - 3:30 pm - 5:30 pm,
Saturday - 8:00 am - 10:00 am

High School Practices - Spring - (This is our busiest season)

Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday - 3:30 pm - 5:30 pm,
Wednesday - 2:30 pm - 4:30 pm
Saturday - 8:00 am - 10:00 am
Wednesdays - Varsity rowers (10th-12th grade) will begin practicing on Wednesdays in the Spring as we get ready for our big regattas and States. Freshmen MAY be asked to row on Wednesdays as we get closer to states. This will be clearly communicated by our coaching staff to the relevant rowers.

Middle School Program Information

One of the oldest and most respected programs in central Florida, our middle school crew introduces young people to the sport through a comprehensive skill development program. Participants race other middle school programs at local regattas and learn what it takes to row competitively.

HS ONLY- PHYSICAL / ECG. This year SORA HIGHLY recommends that our rowers follow Orange County Public School’s lead in completing a sports physical & ECG. Forms can be found in the registration section of our website, check online at OCPS for local school Sports Physical Days. SORA is seriously considering making this a requirement and implementing this policy in the future. SORA highly recommends that your student athletes have both a physical and ECG on file with SORA this season. Please send Physical and ECG forms to forms@soracrew.com
