OARS Youth Invitational

Information and Registration 

The OARS Invitational Regatta is one of the premier rowing events in the southeast, traditionally attracting more than 1,000 rowers from around Florida and neighboring states. Racing takes place on a 1500m course on Turkey Lake, with races starting every 7 minutes. 

This is a two day regatta with HS Events on Saturday and MS/Master Events on Sunday

• SORA HS - Saturday. March 7, 2026
• SORA MS - Sunday, March 8, 2026

ALL HS rowers are expected to stay the entire event to cheer on their team and to help clean up at the end of the event. 

Registration Deadline - Thursday, February 19
If you know that your rower will not be attending this regatta, please let your coaches know ASAP, they are working on line-ups now for this regatta.

Bill Frederick Park at Turkey Lake has implemented a NEW entry fee: 
$15 per Small Passenger Vehicle per day plus transaction fees.
Please use this registration to pre-purchase your parking pass.  

Bill Frederick Park will NOT accept cash at the gate.

Select the type of vehicle(small capacity) and then select the quantity of people for each day that will be riding in the vehicle with you as you pass through the entry gates. 
Upon completion of the registration you will receive 3 emails.  

Please PRINT the parking pass and place it in the window of your vehicle so the gate attendant can clearly see it. A parking pass is required for entry into the park.

Regatta Wear: 

Arrival: SORA Blue Polo & ALL black pants or ALL black shorts

Race Wear: SORA Unisuits & Hi-Vis SORA Yellow hats are required at EVERY race

It is VERY important that ALL HS rowers that registered for this regatta attend, if you have a change in your rower's attendance after, please inform Coach Terry or Runi immediately. If we are missing a rower on regatta day, it may cause the entire boat to scratch.
