The OARS Invitational Regatta is one of the premier rowing events in the southeast, traditionally attracting more than 1,000 rowers from around Florida and neighboring states. Racing takes place on a 1500m course on Turkey Lake, with races starting every 7 minutes.
This is a two day regatta with Junior Events on Saturday and Masters/MS on Sunday

This is an in- town (Orlando) regatta, rowers ARE permitted to drive themselves.

Again this year - From the regatta, entries are limited to one entry per team in each event. We will have a waitlist, so please enter early and add waitlist entries. As soon as we can accept waitlist entries, we will. This will help us to manage the overall race day and ensure we can fit all races into the schedule.
Hospitality - We have a sign-up genius for breakfast items and snacks. In addition to offering a catered meal that you may purchase through SORA or lunch on your own. Details and links to follow.
Parking: ADVANCED pre-purchased parking pass is REQUIRED for entry
Bill Frederick Park at Turkey Lake has implemented a NEW entry fee:
$10 per Small Passenger Vehicle per day plus transaction fees.
Please use this registration to pre-purchase your parking pass.
Bill Frederick Park will NOT accept cash at the gate.

Select the type of vehicle(small capacity) and then select the quantity of people for each day that will be riding in the vehicle with you as you pass through the entry gates.
Upon completion of the registration you will receive 3 emails.

- SportsEngine with your receipt
- SportsEngine showing quantities and your parking pass
Please PRINT the parking pass and place it in the window of your vehicle so the gate attendant can clearly see it.
A parking pass is required for entry into the park.

Regatta Wear: Terry reminds all rowers that maintaining a professional appearance in proper SORA attire is essential.
Arrival: SORA Blue Polo
ALL black pants or ALL black shorts - No markings and no holes
Regatta: Hi-VIs SORA Shirt, Plain Black Shorts/leggings may be worn over the uni-suit
Race Wear: Unisuits and Hi-Vis SORA Yellow hats
Pajama Pants are NOT allowed to be worn at the Venue.
As a reminder, it is VERY important that all of our rowers represent SORA in the best possible way and are in SORA approved gear at the regatta.
