Come meet the Paralympic Rower Mike Varro and learn about adaptive rowing! 

SORA will be hosting an adaptive rowing open house, where individuals with any type of disability can come and try rowing for free. We have equipment for individuals who need a fixed seat on the erg and on the water as well as equipment for those individuals who are amputees but can use their legs. You will have the opportunity to learn about South Orlando Rowing as well as learn about rowing and the impact it has on your body. There will be the opportunity to try the erg machine (indoor rowing) as well as be on the water.

We will have a local Prosthetist and Orthotist on site to help with any brace, prosthesis or equipment needs to make the sport easier and low impact for each individual.
