Each session is two weeks, Monday - Thursday each week, 8am - 11am.
Fee includes: Land/Water based rowing training & park entry fee.
These 2 week programs are designed primarily for new/beginner rowers. They are perfect for kids who may want to continue rowing or simply cross-train for other sports.
We will take this group through the basics of the rowing stroke on the rowing machines, teach them how to responsibly handle the equipment (boats & oars) and then get on the water to apply what they learned on land. We will also work through some land-based training for fitness.
Each participant should have athletic clothing, shoes and socks, a soft plastic water bottle and a sealed non-perishable snack (squirrels love to go after food in bags).
