  • MIDDLE SCHOOL rowers must let us know you are racing (we hope that you will!).

    Categories are:
    Age 9 - 13
    4 minute race
    8:30 -8:40 a.m.

    Grades 7 & 8
    1500m
    8:45 a.m. - 9 a.m.

The 34th Annual Southern Sprints Indoor Rowing Championships is January 28, 2017


Venue: Florida Institute of Technology

Location: Charles & Ruth Clemente Center for Sports & Recreation, 3011 Panther Place, Melbourne, FL, 32901

REGISTRATION:  Middle School Rowers are the only rowers who need to register to confirm participation.  ALL HS rowers will be registered as racing by their coaches.

REPORT TIMES will be finalized no later than 1/25. Based on current schedule:

  • Middle School Report Time: 7:45 a.m.
  • High School Report time: 8:30 a.m.
Expected Release times:  
  • Middle School: 9:30 a.m.
  • High School: 4:00
WAIVERS will be emailed directly to parents from the regatta.  Please complete your waiver no later than 1/21

HOSPITALITY will be snacks, water & Gatorade.  Rowers should bring money for lunch at the FIT cafeteria.

Although this is an indoor event, we will have a hospitality tent and designated area outside.
